Diabetic Nut Loaf

1/4 c. vegetable oil
24 or 2 1/2 c. dates or raisins
2 c. flour, self rising
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. liquid sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

If using all purpose flour, add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon baking.
